Al-Hadath website reported: "A drone attack on US forces in Ain al-Assad base in Anbar province.
No casualties have been reported and no group has claimed responsibility.
Five missiles hit a US base in Syria last night, US officials said, causing no damage.
In response, Iraqi media quoted several sources as saying that the attacks on the US base in Syria were carried out from Iraqi territory.
